If you're new to combat sports, these are the questions we hear most before someone books their first class.
Yes. Every class is coached and supervised, and new students start with technique and controlled drilling before any live sparring. Protective gear is used for contact work, and sparring intensity is matched to experience — you won't be thrown in against advanced fighters on day one.
Yes, kids can train in a structured, age-appropriate way — building discipline, fitness, coordination and self-defense fundamentals. Message us with your child's age so we can point you to the right sessions.
Absolutely — most students start with no background at all. Classes are taught from fundamentals up, and your first trial class is designed to ease you in, not test you.
Beyond learning to fight, students build strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and coordination, while developing real self-defense skills and the discipline and confidence that come from consistent training.
Two to three sessions a week is a solid start for most beginners. Each weekday focuses on a different discipline — boxing, kickboxing, wrestling or BJJ — so you can pick the days that match what you want to learn, or train all of them to build toward complete MMA.
Not for your first class — loaner gloves and protective gear are available for trial sessions. Once you're training regularly, we'll point you to the right gear for the discipline you're focused on (wraps and gloves for striking, a gi or rash guard for grappling).
Classes run in small groups, so you get individual correction without paying for private coaching. Every session — beginner or advanced — is personally led by coach Vibek.
Yes — our classes train men and women together, with technique and contact level always matched to individual experience, not gender.
Boxing and kickboxing are striking arts — hands, and hands-plus-kicks respectively. Wrestling focuses on takedowns and controlling an opponent on the ground. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu focuses on ground control, submissions and joint locks. MMA combines all four into one sport.
